The Wagnalls Memorial is a storied and valuable arts, cultural, and educational destination in Central Ohio since 1925. The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering culture and education by means of the Wagnalls Memorial Library, Community Theater, and Scholarship Program.
The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation is proud to provide a number of scholarships for our community.

On May 30, 1925, Mabel Wagnalls Jones dedicated The Wagnalls Memorial Library in honor of her parents, Adam and Anna Willis Wagnalls. Both were natives of Lithopolis, and Adam was a founder of the publishing giant, Funk & Wagnalls.
Library hours reducing in 2025. We will close at 5 pm on Tuesdays instead of 8 pm.
