DMV Written Test

All applicants for an Ohio driver license must pass a written test that is given in two parts and covers Ohio motor vehicle regulations and traffic signs. The Motor Vehicle Regulations part contains 20 multiple choice questions equally weighted. The applicant must correctly answer 75% or 15 questions to pass this portion of the test. The questions cover: Motor vehicle laws; rules of the road pertaining to safety; regulations of the BMV as prescribed by the director of public safety.
