National Novel Writing Month

What is it?

It is National Novel Writing Month (aka NaNoWriMo): the month where hundreds of thousands of people write 50,000 words in the month of November! This month is a very special opportunity for the Writing Club at The Wagnalls Memorial Library. We don't ask that you write 50,000 words, but we do invite you to come write with us! The Wagnalls Memorial Library will be hosting Come Write-In sessions every Wednesday for the entire month of November. We meet at the library at 6:30 pm in the loft and write until closing at 7:30 pm, but the writing doesn't stop there! At 7:30 the writing group will migrate to our local coffee shop, Das KaffeeHaus, down the street and begin writing again.

There will also be resource workshops for this month on a few different Wednesdays at 5pm in the Wagnalls Computer Lab. Resource classes give you a variety of different techniques to keep you writing and keep you excited about it.
