Welcome to the Wagnalls Memorial Library

Guests who visit the Wagnalls Memorial for the first time are enthralled by its Tudor-Gothic style that’s reminiscent of the Medieval Revival period. The vaulted ceilings, rich oak woodwork, native-freestone, hanging metal chandeliers, steep pitched roof, window casements, carved wood sculptures, and other architectural characteristics make the turn-of-the-century library a truly unique destination. A vital community resource, the library provides people living in the Columbus area and visitors with a center for educational, cultural, and literary arts activities. We invite you to tour our beautiful library, manicured gardens, and historic theater and to consider supporting the Wagnalls Memorial Foundation so we may continue to preserve and operate this historic community treasure.

Second Annual Gatsby at the Wagnalls!

The Wagnalls Memorial invites you to the second annual Gatsby at Wagnalls on October 12, 2019 at The Wagnalls Memorial in Lithopolis, Ohio. Come experience the magical spirit of the Roaring Twenties at a glamorous evening wearing your finest attire or Gatsby-themed couture. The event will benefit Wagnalls Memorial Foundation. There will be a fabulous silent auction featuring unique items and gift packages. Children’s Night/Weekend Staff

Must be able to work:

Tuesdays 10-3, Wednesdays 2-8, Thursdays 10-3 and Saturday 9:45-2:15 (One per month and 2 per every 3rd month).

Writing Club
